Waseskun is a Cree word referring to the time just after a storm, when the dark clouds begin to part, the blue sky appears, and the first rays of sunlight shine through. |

Many of our residents are skilled craftsmen who arrive here with skills that have been passed on through many generations. Waseskun encourages such craftsmanship through the promotion of that art and also provides its residents with an art therapy program to help develop and to encourage personal healing through artistic expression. |
